This collection was created during the season of controlled bush fires in May 2023, as approximately 700 hectares was burnt surrounding the studio of Weaving Worlds on Whadjuk Noongar Boodjar. The tension and release it brought to be in such close experience with this process gave insightful inspiration for this music.

Track 1 and 2 are a harmonic vocal send off, both tracks are based off of single take improvised recording sessions from deep in the bush at the end of last season.

Track 2 blends the raw vocal stylings with gritty electronic elements, alluding to the descent the music will take as in tracks 3, 4 and 5 we move away from the expected vocal layering's and into more distorted instrumental drone atmospheres.

A melding of percussion taken from found objects of the natural environment, and a selection of instruments unconventionally played.
